At this point in Yvon’s illustrious career, there’s little need for introduction. In 1988, the domain had its first vintage apart from the Co-op Yvon’s family had worked for generations. He was interested in a new philosophy of natural winemaking, developed by Jules Chauvet. For this reason, he’s often grouped with the ‘Gang of Four’ (Foillard, Lapierre, Thévenet, and Breton) who were also early adoptors of Chauvet’s technique. Famous sites like “Grille Midi” and “La Madonne” have consistantly been the ground for incredible bottles garnering international renown for the domain.
